Be careful what you read
I wandered through the seemingly endless maze of the colossal bookstore, looking for an interesting book. The store was holding a closing down sale, and I was hoping to pick up some cheap books.
I wandered seemingly aimlessly from shelf to shelf, hoping to find a nice book. Soon enough, a book with an interesting cover caught my attention. On the cover was the picture of a blue biped dragon looking out at the horizon from a cliff. The scene was rather cliché, but the picture itself was beautifully rendered, I reached over and picked it up. Like the other books in the store, its price had been slashed to a fraction of the orig

The DRPD
May 5
After what we saw during last years occupy movement riots and what some of us passerby’s saw along the riot line, Many of us began asking questions as to what did we see. Turned out all we had to do was wait, we would get an answer. But that answer would cause a cascade of questions to follow. Who or what were these giant things? What or why is there some group called the DRPD? Why? Just why?
"Have they finally answered us?" I asked as me and an... Ally walked down 16th street mall, ignoring the group of nearby shoppers whom simply gave us odd looks.

Reconciliation
The light-blue dragon looked down from its perch in the tree, eyeing the young man knocking at the front door of the house. The door creaked open, revealing a middle-aged man with short-cut, salt and pepper hair.

This was a storyline I originally started in LiveJournal on December 3rd, 2007. My goal was to write 500 Words a day in a continuous, episodic fashion. Think of it as a comic strip, but without the pretty pictures.
I kept things going up until the time I switched job roles, which meant I had to put everything on hold to learn the new responsibilities and get settled in.
Between that time and now, I got a DeviantArt account, so I thought this would be a better place to share it.
I'll be putting up three of the previous segments every few days until I get the entirety of them up here, and then start to continue the ongoing episodes and overall story arc.
Enjoy.
