Fantiss Call - Meet Your DragonsFor such a little creature, and one of her supposed age, Xella's grip was incredibly strong, not that I couldn't have broken free, but something about this kobold just made you want to pay attention to her every word. Perhaps that why she was an All-Watcher...but truth be told, that Dr. Ruth accent is just too cool coming out of her muzzle. Also, the fact that she was incredibly resourceful added to her charm; it could have been something out of a Rockwell Painting: A little scaly dog-thing leading a giant dragon, smiling as she has his hand in hers, and pulling a huge, lacquer-covered tome behind her in a little purple wagon...it was one Fantiss Call - Meet Your Dragons by *AbramWinterSmith

Guy Recipes: Mashed Potato PieMASHED POTATO PIE!

Here's What You Need:
5 to 10 pounds of Potatoes…nothing fancy, just your regular brown will do.
Butter

Milk
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Parmesan Cheese

Garlic (Powdered or Fresh)
Parsley
Chives

(PRO TIP! – You don't see specific quantities of all this stuff because how do I know what YOU like…you can add or remove stuff as you see fit…it's not like I'm gonna break into your kitchen and scream "YOU'RE DOIN' IT WROOOONG!!" or nothin'….))

....before I get the keys to my new apartment....possibly a few days sooner.

For those who've known me better...I will say this much:

My girlfriend already knows...
...we're going to remain friends afterwards because she was thinking of moving, also.

But it's six weeks till March 15th, when I move to Tempe, Arizona...just four miles from work, and walking distance between other humane beings...:3

It's also going to be the first time I've ever lived alone, which is a new and exciting experience, and also a bit scary.

Working on getting furnishings for the place....a 2 Bedroom/1 Bath flat with 840 square feet...the kitchen is a little small for my tastes, but all the appliances are new, and otherwise it's really wonderful.

If I can figure out all these new-fangled picture phones and how they suck themselves into a computer port...I might show photos later on.

For now...I got shopping to do, and packing, and all that happy stuff....

Sorry it took so long to get back to you...things have been kind of crazy since we last chatted.

In Mid-March, I moved out of my ex-girlfriend's home and into a nicer apartment...I now have a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home that is not filled with trash, mold, or cat wastes. I've become more like myself again and feel far more alive. Despite this, the writing mojo is slow to come back...I suppose the years of mental breakdowns, emotional apathy from my former significant other, and just all the crap I dealt with will take a few months to recover enough from to feel mentally/emotionally healthy enough to belt out the stories like I used to.

On the bright side in that respect, I have organized a Pathfinder online game over Skype which is set to begin on June 29th and my five players are all very much looking forward to that.

I've been forming new friendships and making new bonds...again with younger folks than I...I've been having a couple of college kids over for dinner every 1-2 weeks, neighbors who helped me move in...we share stories of our childhood, chat about video games, music, and roleplaying...and through this I demonstrate how much of an old fart I really am...((To a college kid, 40 is Old-Fart range.

))

On May 31st the transmission in my car died...so that's getting replaced, and I pick that up tomorrow, June 10th...my parents decided to help me out with getting the new transmission, in exchange for my hair...they finally got photos of my ponytail and have made it their current mission to get rid of it. So this Thanksgiving I'll be flying out to see them, and donating my hair to Locks of Love...though I'm tempted to buy a bald wig and tell them that I beat them to it.

At work, we've had a lot of cases and drama...but I tend to let the drama slide and just get the work done...I got yelled at multiple times for 'bantering too much'...but this past week I closed 55 cases, scored 3 "All-Touches" (Which means you have worked and moved every case on your Case Docket forward significantly...and I have 30 to 45 cases at any given time) and backed up my work partner for the two days she was out...I told my supervisor if my talking was THAT unproductive, I wouldn't have numbers like that to back it up....Touche...

So overall...at lot more good than bad these days. :3

good to here things ae starting to look up though.

my lifes starting to get up and moving again, trying to get a summer job,
spending time with friends and trying to get out of being zombified from school.
just now getting over a sun burn from camping with some friends, and then ill need my wisdom teeth removed, but its been slow but good.
